| Abstract: | There is a dearth of significant psychological researches on social change and social development. This is evident from the fact that Rath (1972) devotes only one page to social change and development in the trend report on social psychology. Sociologists have been much more concerned with the problems of social change, although psychologists' concern has been steadily increasing, and the increase in publications by psychologists in this area is very visible. |
