Network of Excellence in Digital Identity Management: UK India Interact

Abstract

The aim of this study is to create a network of excellence in security and identity management between India and UK. The broad objectives are as follows: • to work closely with industry and commerce to create an effective interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary Network of experienced scientists, engineers, technologists, economists, and entrepreneurs to respond to identified challenges • to promote mobility and create ad-hoc teams from the network membership to generate innovative approaches in research proposals to technology challenges, be they long standing, novel, or speculative • to allow industry to form better links with clearly identified expertise in UK and India in fields of relevance to their brief, transferring techniques and scientific insights across groups in the process • to widen the network and its skills base through inviting new members when appropriate • to serve the UK and India public better through the above approaches and the solutions generated.
