Abstract: | Peer-to-peer mesh networks for mobile phones have recently been proposed as an alternative to the traditional base-station cellular model. These are particularly attractive for remote/rural areas in developing countries as they do not depend on costly infrastructure and telecom operators. Active user participation is, however, critical for its success. This project proposes a rating based incentive scheme tor encouraging user participation in ad-hoc mobile phone mesh networks. |
