Abstract: This paper explores the relationship between leadership and business model innovation in an entrepreneurial firm. The literature shows that, the role of leader in Business Model Innovation is important and unexplored phenomenon. A model is created which is the replication of the model depicting relationship between leadership and innovation. The case on an entrepreneurial firm is used to understand this phenomenon and the model. The leader of an animation firm has been observed closely. The leader, his partners and employees of the firm has been interviewed multiple times. The findings and analysis show that, in this organization, leader is a trigger for Business Model Innovation but this case fails to find his influence in the process or execution of Business Model Innovation.
