dc.description.abstractThis paper provides an insight into the Work life balance and Subjective well being of Educationists in Public and Private Higher Education Institutions. As in other multidimensional organizations Work life balance is a concern for Educationists too with the multitude of responsibilities that they have to manage. A sample of 100 educationists from public and private sector institutions of higher education was taken. The purpose of the research is to understand the antecedents and consequences of Work life balance. Also the research aims to study the impact of predictors Work family conflict, Family work conflict, Work life enrichment, Spiritual dimension and Work life balance on Subjective well being. Results indicate that Conflict, Enrichment and Spirituality significantly influence both work life balance and Subjective well being. Work life balance also has a positive association with job satisfaction. Demographic characteristics did not impact work life balance of respondents.en_US
