The report aims to study two organizations who have successfully implemented some HRD interventions as a result of a variety of pressures both internal and external. The authors have attempted to evaluate these interventions vis-a-vis their stated objectives. While the west has already moved to the point of quantitatively measuring the benefits of various sub departments in the HRD department, India has not as yet reached there. The organizations studied here are Richardson Hindustan Ltd. and Glindia Ltd.en_US
