The study at the start gives an introduction about the company, the product, domestic market and retailing of the product. The study then goes on to the planning for distribution, distribution objectives, product needs, market needs, alternate system of distribution etc. A major part of the study covers the distribution practices in the textile industry such as sole selling agents, wholesalers, semi wholesalers, retail traders, ordinary retail shops, exclusive retail shops or mill's own retail shops.en_US
