| dc.description | The objective of the project was to design and implement the preventive maintenance scheduling system for machines which is being computerized by Anil Synthetics Ltd., Ahmedabad. The system envisaged was mainly one which would help the production departments to streamline their preventive maintenance activities. The reports generated from this system would help focus the attention of the people responsible on to those machines where there has been an inordinate delay in doing preventive maintenance. A comparative study of breakdown of the machines prior to and after implementation of this system will highlight those machines where improvements in performance are possible through better maintenance. | en_US |
