Abstract: The authors explore the importance of data analytics in gaining insights and in driving business planning. They state that the adoption of the business enterprises on the capabilities of the data analytics is a manifestation of how businesses coped up on the power of information technology. The authors further add that the emergence of the data collection technology will lead to the construction of better and informed business decisions.
