Based on the discussions the ideas have been put together to understand why the relations between workers and management have evolved the way they have evolved, what are the sources in historyand culture of the two continents and what could be other alternatives. The intentionof this paper is to explore the changing atterns of relationships between workers and the management in industry over the last century and a half.en
