Adani Agri Logistics Limited (AALL) is the first organization partnering with the state agency, Food Corporation of India (FCI), to introduce bulk handling, storage and transportation of food grains in India by setting up ultra-modern silo storage facilities. The case elicits issues in designing contracts and negotiating changes in existing clauses due to causes external to the project. It brings forth issues of PPP governance and contracting, working with the government. The learnings from the case can help policy makers and private organizations about designing PPP projects and contracts, bulk management supply chains, and management of foodgrains.en_US
