This case is based on a review of the Memorandum of Understanding between Rajasthan State Warehousing Corporation (RSWC), a government owned corporation and Shree Shubham Logistics Limited (SSLL), a private entity. In this context, it highlights the issues and challenges in managing Public Private Partnerships in rural infrastructure in agri warehousing in India. The challenges relate to the designing mechanisms for involvement of private sector (including Swiss Challenge), commercial aspects, and existing policy framework. The case highlights the role of the SSLL in bringing efficiency in the management of the RSWC warehouses and identifying growth areas, and how SSLL could leverage RSWC for its own growth.en_US
