| Abstract: | The narrative of this case revolves around the theatre of the ban in which the sports body and the star player confront each other in a sequel to an episode in the newly introduced IBL - the Indian Badminton League. The subject matter of the case revolves around the arbitary exercise of disciplinary authority, the playing out of the principles of natural justice as the aggrieved player exercises her right to defend herself in the face of what she perceives as an unfair, unwarranted, unsubstantiated ban imposed on her. |
