dc.description.abstractThe paper examines the legal issues involved in the conduct of disciplinary inquiries in industry and outlines the process in conducting such inquiries. The paper highlights the shift of emphasis from "holding a proper inquiry" in the strict legal sense and postulates that punishment of a workman found guilty of misconduct has moved into the collective bargaining arena.en
