| Abstract: | With growing trade of India logistics plays a crucial part in making the country competitive and bringing it at par with the developed nations. The modern era presents opportunity in form of technological advancements and globalisation to restructure the present landscape of logistics in India. Integrated logistics offers such an opportunity; one of the developments in this domain being multimodal transportation. The report is an attempt to examine the scope of multimodal transportation in India by analysing various elements linked to logistic domain, role of government and new technology for enhancing the logistics landscape of India. |
