dc.description.abstractIn order to strengthen district level administration for implementing various developmental schemes, it would be necessary to develop proper information systems at the distrit level. A framework for developing and organizing District Information Service Centres has been developed. The information systems are suggested to be developed using a mini or micro computer. The nature of computer based information systems and the organizational set-up needed to develop the District Information Service Centers, is also discussed.en
