Abstract: This study explores findings from the experience of managers and employees about human resources development policies and their practices in Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited. The human resource development systems in Cadila Pharmaceuticals are based on an evaluation of the performance and their practical implication for effective functioning to maintain managerial excellence. The study reports, the results of the exploration of the perceptions of human resource development values, their expectation, and evaluation criteria to assess the contribution of HRD. The study brings out people related issues and the organization strategies to cope with them for the smooth functioning of the organization as well as the betterment of the people. This study also attempts to trace the human resource development approaches for the overall development of the organization and the individuals.
