Abstract: | The project aimed to analyse the existing supply chain of a retail firm, analyse and suggest recommendations that have the potential to improve the processes using analytical findings. Two retail firms were considered for the same: 1. Frank Jefferson Store, Ahmedabad Gujarat A retail store with four outlets in Ahmedabad, Chandkheda, Ghokhra, Vastrapur, and Panchvati. One store is located in Surat. The store was a supplier to online apparel retailers: Myntra, Jabong, Limeroad, Flipkart, and Paytm Mall. The end customers were the final users of the product. 2. Elite Foods Private Limited, Thrissur Kerala A distributor with multiple distribution centres in Kerala and five other centres outside Kerala. Elite Foods Private Limited was into the business of procuring, packaging and distributing certain grocery and bakery products to its customers. The customers were retail stores who then stored these products in their retail outlets for the end users. |
