Abstract: Drug decriminalisation calls for returning to pre-20th century situation in which all drugs were legal. However, drugs have a negative connotation to them. There have been many instances of people dying due to overdose or getting addicted due to them. Then why is the idea of drug decriminalisation gaining traction across the globe?
