Abstract: As of March 2016, there are seventy-eight contracting parties and sixty-five signatories to the CNS. Paraguay submitted its instrument of accession on 9 January 2014, which entered into force on 9 April 2014, and Montenegro submitted its instrument of accession on 23 April 2015, which entered into force on 22 July 2015.The sixth Review Meeting of the Contracting Parties to the CNS was held from 24 March to 4 April 2014 at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) headquarters in Vienna, Austria. Sixty-nine of the seventy-six contracting parties participated in the review meeting. Seven contracting parties, namely Bahrain, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Macedonia, Kuwait, Mali, and Saudi Arabia, did not attend the review meeting, and eleven contracting parties did not submit a national report.
