dc.description.abstractThe use of computers in Management has ranged from Processing or Operational Data to Development of Corporate decision models. Planning of Information Processing System as a Part of the Management Information Systems in organization, is essential for deriving the benefits of computers for generation of information for planning, control and decision making. In this paper, some of the problems which are being faced in implementing information processing systems are discussed. An approach for implementation of such systems based on information analysis and choice of technology has been evolved. Availability of various range of computers and their impact on the information processing systems is also discussed.en
