Abstract: There is a myriad of literature and studies undertaken to assess the use of technology in education, in both developing and developed nations. It is well recognized that technological intervention in education help address issues of educational equity and make education more accessible for all. This project attempts to provide insight on the effectiveness of GyanKunj, a technological intervention to address learning needs of public schools, under the initiative of the Gujarat State Government. It explores the perspectives of all the stakeholders involved in the learning procedure- students, teachers, and parents to understand the impact that GyanKunj makes, and the shortcomings suffered by the programme. We also explore it from a gender perspective, having visited an all-girls school in rural Gujarat to gain a deeper understanding of ground realities.
