dc.description.abstract | It was the year 2010, and after months of effort put into trying to understand (and help) the clean technology space in India, Kunal Upadhyay felt that his team had finally struck gold. Kunal was the CEO at The Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) at IIM-Ahmedabad. Having just left a meeting with British Petroleum Ventures, Kunal felt that the meeting had resulted in what might just be a pivotal moment in growing cleantech start-up atmosphere in India. As he headed to his office in CIIE, he reflected on how the need for a strong clean tech ecosystem had shaped up in the last decade - and how this need could be best fulfilled by Infuse Ventures – an idea that had just been proposed and accepted in the meeting. | en_US |
