With ever-growing needs for collective work, the traditional model of leadership, focusing on an individual, is becoming obsolete. As organizations flatten and diversify, people at the same hierarchical level confront increasingly complex situations. Although quite capable on their own, they face difficulties in handling group dynamics, especially when no one has any direct authority over the other. In the case of mismanagement, it leads to poor performance which, in turn, can be detrimental to the whole group along with the concerned parties.en_US
