Through this project, we aim to understand the impact of MGNREGA on labour market, specifically seasonal rural migration. We analyse 63 districts of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan and study the percentage seasonal rural migration of these districts before and after the implementation of NREGA. The districts consist a combination of both, test and control groups and Difference Indifference model is used for analysis. The results of the model show that NREGA has a significant negative impact on seasonal rural migration.en_US
