Abstract: | On a fine evening in November 2012, Mr. Tanmay Mukherji, COO and functional head at Tech Force Composites (“TFC”), an OEM manufacturer producing Fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) composite components for the automotive industry, sat at his office desk looking down the shop floor in his manufacturing plant at Goa, India. He had an important meeting planned the next day at their main plant in Indore—a city in India— wherein he had to take a crucial decision along with Mr. Rajan Baveja and Mr. Tapan Mukherji, founders, Executive Directors and Board Members of TFC.1 He pondered over the finalstate of recommendations he would present for the proposed partnership with M/s. Wayand, a German manufacturer of composite components for the cars, commercial vehicles, energy and environmental technology industries. |
