The Indian Elections offer the perfect platform for the study of the application of strategy in a competitive environment. A tremendous amount of strategic planning goes into activities such as parties deciding their candidates in a particular constituency, modes of campaigning, etc. There are multiple demographic, social, political and economic factors which influence these decisions which we desire to properly map out through this study. The final impact that all these activities have on the common people, which can be gauged by how they vote, would shed light on how the above-mentioned strategies actually perform on the field.en_US
