Abstract: The spread of Corona Virus that began in India from March 2020 has pushed many industries to rethink their business models. The outbreak which appeared to be containable at the start has now moved into the Indian hinterlands and has disrupted the economic cycle beyond expectations. This Black Swan event which appeared to be a short term phenomenon is now expected to last at least until the foreseeable future. The Covid-19 epidemic has also brought about changes in people’s lifestyles. To protect against the infection, people are preferring to stay indoors – working from home, avoiding unnecessary travel, and refraining from engaging in social activities. In case of a necessity to go out, hygiene and safety have become the floor expectations.
