dc.description.abstract | Online education occupies an important space in the field of education, further accentuated by the Covid scenario. In this paper I have tried to analyze the various key players in the online education space, their business model and the impact of the new entrant i.e. the corporates themselves. Comparison in a snapshot is given in the below table for three type of service providers – Coursera integrated with universities, an online educational enterprise and a corporate firm having similar offerings. The names are for indicative purpose only and reflect only the generic trend. The actual offerings or reasons may differ. Real cost breakups are not shown due to data unavailability and confidentiality agreements. | en_US |
