dc.description.abstract | It has been seen that people from marginalized and poorer sections of society have less representation in higher education. One of the significant factors contributing to the less representation is the lack of quality primary education, due to which students from marginalized communities are not able to cross this threshold. Good quality education requires large investments in infrastructure due to which the development has been very slow. However, many startups have come up in the EdTech space, aiding in access to good quality education through the use of technology. The study tries to find out if the recent developments in the EdTech sector provide sustainable solutions which could be scaled up and implemented across the country to improve the quality of education. The motivation behind the study is to help the underprivileged community by finding out implementable solutions which could improve their situation and bridge the gap between people from various communities. | en_US |
