Abstract: | India has been rapidly changing in which inclusive, high-quality education is of utmost importance for its future prosperity. It has the largest youth population in the world—a whopping 700 million young people under the age of 25. Around 28 percent of the population is less than 14 years of age, and with more than 30 newborn every minute, population growth rates are expected to remain at around 1 percent for subsequent years (Nations, 2014). In the light of this, there has been a dire need of universal access to education in India. Universal education has always been an issue in India and RTE was enacted in 2009 for the same. |
