dc.description.abstract | The paper aims to do a literature review of the existing resources on social media hiring prevalent within organizations today. The paper realises the advantages and the challenges involved in the process. It further looks at the pre-information background checks by the companies and the steps followed in the same as shown in Figure 1. Lastly, it suggests some recommendations and policy changes that HR departments can follow to make social media a part of its recruitment process. The future scope of the paper proposes a survey to be carried out with employers (especially HR) to understand and substantiate the literature review undertaken and recommend solutions basis the same. | en_US |
