Abstract: | Currently, there is no significant literature on the choice of colleges by undergraduate students in India. Though many people enroll themselves or their children in colleges with good quality teachers, the metrics of what exactly makes a teacher “good” are not crystallized. Further, students often depend on the advice of friends and family due to the lack of a concrete ranking of teaching faculty. Since we are from an engineering background, we were intrigued at how students evaluate faculty, and what metrics they use for the same. |
