In this project, we have tried to bring forth analysis of the ways in which white-collar employees face exploitative working conditions. We have also tried to analyse how these conditions impact their mental, physical, and social well-being. We have also tried to understand the other side of the coin, which is, impact of exploitative working conditions of white-collar workers on their employers and companies. Through primary and secondary research, we have tried to gain and present in-depth insights regarding why both employees and employers keep up with these exploitative conditions when it hurts all stakeholders, though in different ways. The project tries to answer all the above-mentioned questions in a comprehensive manner and even attempts to reflect on certain nuanced issues, like whether exploitative work conditions create situations which favour some groups of people, men, and people without families, over others, women, and people with familial obligations. We also try to decipher the societal and mental structures which prohibit individuals and organizations, the exploited and exploiters, from breaking free from the vicious cycle of exploitation.en_US
