Abstract: | The paper explores new business opportunity potential in the Indian EdTech industry by understand consumer needs, industry trends and competitive landscape. Collaborative learning has been identified as a trend and a challenge across the value chain. The project seeks to evaluate business opportunity in the same consumer need, among competitive exam aspirants and college students. Among the ideas generated, a peer-to-peer learning platform was finalized based on a three criteria evaluation. The idea involves development of a threefeature platform providing a discussion forum, a virtual study space in metaverse and a material sharing platform. From primary research, consumers expressed concerns of concrete differential offering with respect to existing players in the market. The final product has been designed to incorporate consumer voices and concerns, to provide a holistic one-stop solution for collaborative learning. |
