Since the beginning of time, women have been the victims of numerous atrocities. The fight for gender equality is not new, and women have gone a long way since the beginning of these movements and have shown themselves in various fields, including the ones dominated by men. Even today, women face significant difficulties from gender-based and other associated social biases in order to achieve victory. These biases are more prevalent in rural areas of our country which is predominantly patriarchal in nature. In this setting, society, government, and most importantly, women play important roles in enabling women to take on leadership and entrepreneurial responsibilities in the community. The first studies on female entrepreneurs to be published in the entrepreneurship literature date back more than 30 years. Researchers from all around the world today study women's entrepreneurship, which has its roots in the United States and the United Kingdom. In the past, researchers have mostly concentrated on women who launch and/or manage their own enterprises (including those who are self-employed). As a result, a large portion of the body of research looks into the ways in which some women become these types of entrepreneurs, the effects of doing so, the psychological and environmental factors that encourage or restrict their entrepreneurial activity, and whether these ways, effects, and influential factors aredifferent from those in male entrepreneurs.en_US
