dc.description.abstractBhanu Harish Gurram, one of the co-founders of Ditto Insurance & Finshots, called his founding team for a quick meeting on Zoom on a Monday morning in June 2022. They were to meet a couple of IIMA student consultants who were going to perform a market analysis of the Insurance Industry and give their recommendations on where Ditto Insurance should focus next. Ditto, in just 16 months of its launch, had amassed a massive following and had 45 insurance advisors and an audience of 50K+ people while solely focussing on Health and Term (Life) Insurance. However, they were now stuck with a conundrum as to what they should do now - should they continue with just focusing on these two or were they at the pinnacle of what they can do with these types of insurance and hence diversify into other types like auto insurance, house insurance, fire & safety insurance, etc. and the IIMA MBA 2nd year student-consultants Soumyajit Ghosh and Ashwin H were going to help solve this conundrum.en_US
