Whenever people get jobs in high-paying sectors like consulting and finance, 80-hour workweeks are the norm and not the exception. This kind of working style leads to immense pressure and an unbalanced lifestyle. An employee will always find it difficult to avoid the stress that occurs on the job and will have to come up with ways to cope with it. Sometimes, it leads to unhealthy addictions like drugs, alcohol, and social media. Addicted folks claim that it is an outlet and helps them focus and work better. In this project, we will understand the factors/reasons behind stress at a job and how it impacts the performance of the individual. We also look at the resilience of the individual and how it is measured. Then we see whether resilience has any significant impact on the performance of the individual and his/ her ability to deal with stress.en_US
