5G – innovations, implications & efficiencies for businesses in India

Abstract

In this paper, we aim to identify the various industries that stand to benefit from 5G implementation in India. We discover various use cases that can be prioritized using 5G’s underlying technology that provides ultra-high-speed internet connectivity with low latency. We analyze the various progress achieved across regions over the world as well as critically evaluate possible learnings from their implementation of 5G regionally. Can we really embark onto a new age of digitization and uplift society towards a cleaner and better future on the pillars of next-generation networks? Through a varied mix of secondary research, we’ve attempted to understand and communicate succinctly the possible outcomes for various industries leveraging the capabilities of 5G technology and the roadmap for its implementation.
