dc.description.abstract | Within the past century, the major types of industries and modes of doing business have evolved significantly through the breakout of technology. Services industry saw a boom, whereas the dominance of production-based industries stabilized. As a result, focus of managers and owners has shifted on employees rather than mass production. For any business to flourish, attracting, nurturing, and retaining good talent has become an essential requirement. Employee importance has also risen prominently after the Covid catastrophe struck the world. With the paramount significance and care towards the employee, the term employee engagement has gained much traction. In this paper, we have tried to explore the importance given to employee engagement by companies and how they deal with and improve the existing engagement levels. | en_US |
