Abstract: | The current iteration of the internet enables us to communicate with people and view content from around the world. It is more two-dimensional and unidirectional in nature with the exception of messaging and video conferencing. Metaverse is a technology which enables us to see the world of internet from the inside. It is a virtual 3D world inside the internet where one can interact with others with the help of their very own digital avatars which are highly customizable. It is believed to be the next iteration of the internet. An idealistic version of metaverse is expected to be a single digital space for all the people connected to the internet where humans can experience everything that they experience in the real world, if not more. |
