Abstract: | This article attempts to measure the attitude of heads of households in Udaipur city towars the recent enactment stipulating a rise in the marriage age. Out of the sample respondents, as many as 621 were in favour of this step. The opposition to it came mostly from such heads of households as were too religious and who felt that it was binding upon them to get their children married as soon as possible. |
