| Abstract: | This note identifies the factors that affect the demand for working capital loans on a farm. It also explains the need for estimation of working capital loans and the problems confronted by lending institutions in its precise estimation. The note gives various models and their limitations in estimating the working capital loan needs of farmers and their aggregation for the area/region. |
