| Abstract: | The note covers programming concepts and the process of programming emphasizing structured programming methodology. Programming is presented as an intuitive process, identifying concepts needed to develop solutions to complex computational problems. Structured English (pseudo-code) is used for developing the programs, and Microsoft QuickBASIC for implementation. The guidelines for translating pseudo-codes into other BASICs are also given. The note elaborates on program structures, array data structure, sub-programs (functions and procedures), and string handling." |
