dc.description.abstractThe note traces the development of the case method of study and its application today in management education. Both the prescriptive and practical aspects of the method are discussed. The case method is compared with the traditional teaching methods and more recent innovative methods such as role -plays. The focus of the entire discussion is on the case teacher, and the material is provided in such a manner as to enable him to make effective use of the case method as a tool of management education.en
