| Abstract: | In 1984, IFFCO was invited by the Government of India to establish a gas?based fertilizer plant on the Hazira? Bijyapur?Jagdishpur pipeline. The case describes the company's Aonla Project and the steps taken by IFFCO's project staff to implement it. Information about the pipeline project is also given along with the need for managing Over Dimensioned Consignments (ODCs) for the Aonla Project. Background information on IFFCO, food and fertilizer industry, and fertilizer technology are also given. |
