| Abstract: | This is a case in which the mode choice (a suitable combination of road/rail/water) for movement of iron ore to a sponge iron plant needs to be decided upon. This mode choice would also influence the finished material movement. In fact, since the market demand is more than the supply, the choice of which market to serve can also be decided, keeping logistical considerations. |
