| Abstract: | This note describes the structure of India’‘s computer industry in 1992. It gives the evolution of the industry, the entry barriers, the profiles of the major players and the market in the various segments of the computer industry. The note enables a structural analysis of the industry to be made and can precede the case ECIL (E) which deals with the problem of forming a competitive strategy for ECIL’‘s Computer Group. |
