| Abstract: | The case reflects on the problems of a large tomato paste plant in the raw material procurement from contract growers. The company is confronted with the constraints of international tomato paste price and high domestic prices of tomato due to demand supply gap. The focus is to develop a strategy that could ensure adequate and smooth supply of fresh tomato to the unit. |
