| Abstract: | The case describes how a nationalized commercial bank appraises the working capital loan of a farmer. It also provides information on how the bank may strike a balance between meeting seasonal cash deficits and new technology adoption goals that the bank emphasizes. Based on both of these the case raises the issue of how to change appraisal process of a crop loan request based on three Rs of credit analysis. |
